Perio Aid Intensive Care 0.12% Gel / 75ml

PERIO · AID Intensive Care 0,12% gel paste is an oral antiseptic containing 0,12% chlorhexidine, providing comprehensive antibacterial protection of the oral cavity. Effectively fights plaque, heals and prevents gum disease.

PERIO · AID Intensive Care 0,12% gel paste is used both in dental offices (tooth extraction, implantation procedure) and at home therapy in the treatment of gum and periodontal diseases. Home therapy usually lasts from 1 to 4 weeks.

Indications:

• for use before and after dental procedures: tooth extraction, surgery, impantation, etc.
• effectively fights plaque (biofilm)
• therapy supporting the treatment of periodontal diseases and gingivitis around the implant
• patients at high risk of caries, root caries and numerous cavities
• patients with lowered immune resistance and burdened with systemic diseases
• patients with difficulties in maintaining hygiene (movement limitations, disabilities)
• oral diseases caused by oncological treatment
• hypersensitive patients
• gingival overgrowth
• aphthae

Composition:

Chlorhexidine digluconate 0,12%

• broad and long-lasting antiseptic action against pathogenic bacteria of the oral cavity

Xylitol 10%

• remineralises enamel, has anti-caries properties
• balances the pH in the oral cavity, inhibiting the formation of biofilm (plaque)
• moisturizes the oral cavity, increases saliva flow and reduces acid production

Directions for use:

Use as regular toothpaste. Apply a small amount of gel to a soft toothbrush. Carefully wash all affected areas at least 2 times a day. An additional application is local application to sore gums. It is advisable not to rinse with water or eat immediately after using the paste. Use for 1 to 4 weeks.
