Nanohybrid technology
The size of the filler particles affects the aesthetic and mechanical properties of the composites. Luna contains a hybrid of nano and micro sized particles for optimal aesthetics and strength. The nanoparticles help to polish and keep the surface smooth over time. Microparticles contribute to strength and durability. Thanks to its hybrid filler, Luna is ideal for anterior and posterior restorations.

Features and Benefits:

• Chameleon effect
  Luna maintains the proper balance of the optical elements, resulting in a chameleon effect with natural dentition and an invisible border between the tooth and the restoration.

• Natural fluorescence and translucency
  Luna exposed to ultraviolet light shows the fluorescence characteristic of a natural tooth. The iridescent properties also correspond to those of a natural tooth. In all light types, Luna restorations provide a natural glow and satisfy the patient.

• High bending strength
  It is essential to relieve stress and compressive forces to which teeth are exposed in stressful situations1. Class I and II restorations are subject to high chewing forces and require the use of materials with high flexural strength. With a flexural strength of 136 MPa, Luna is ideal for use in stress-bearing areas and is designed to withstand chewing forces.

• Excellent compressive strength
  Luna contains 77% filler by weight. Fillers in the form of strontium glass and their high concentration in the Luna composite ensure high compressive strength to increase the durability of the restorations.

• Optimal contrast under X-rays
  Composite materials visible on X-ray images enable the detection of voids and secondary caries throughout the entire duration of the restoration. Luna is much more visible under X-rays than enamel and dentin3, guaranteeing a complete and clear border visibility of the restoration for a quick and reliable diagnosis.

• Non-stick formula - does not stick to tools
  Luna's non-sticky formula allows easy placement of restorations. Luna does not run off or spring off, enabling efficient formation of optimal tooth morphology. The composite has a creamy consistency, which makes it easy to stuff, so that no micro-leaks are created. It has optimal translucency
