• Proprietary technology
  Riva Protect uses proprietary ionglassTM technology developed in SDI laboratories. ionglassTM is an X-ray impermeable, ion-releasing, reactive glass filler in SDI restorative cements. Riva Protect is characterized by a high fluoride release and enables the remineralization of hard tooth tissues.

• Setting time
  The capsules are available in a slow-setting or a quick-setting version. The powder / liquid kit is only available in a slow setting version.

• Low viscosity
  The low viscosity of Riva Protect allows it to flow efficiently into grooves and crevices. One of the most important causes of damage to crevice varnishes is their inadequate consistency and leaky connection with the enamel. The sealing properties of Riva Protect and a strong chemical bond with the tooth tissues optimize the maintenance of the lacquer and significantly reduce the space where bacteria can grow.

• Special indications
  Thanks to the extremely high fluoride release and the ability to remineralise the tooth tissues, Riva Protect can be successfully used as a liner and for temporary elevation of occlusion in orthodontics.

• Without bonding systems
  Like other glass ionomer cements, Riva Protect chemically bonds to the tooth structure without the use of bonding systems.

• Moisture resistant
  Riva Protect can be used in both wet and dry environments. Unlike composite lacquers, you do not have to strictly control the dryness of the treatment area when using Riva Protect.
