Iodoform / 30g

Jodoform is used for root canal treatment.

Indications:

• treatment of pulp inflammation in deciduous teeth combined with devitalization
• treatment of pulp gangrene in deciduous teeth and pulp in permanent teeth
• treatment of periapical tissue inflammation in permanent teeth with unformed and formed roots accompanied by persistent exudate

Features and Benefits:

• has a long-lasting antibacterial effect
• weakly anesthetic
• dries the exudate
• stops bleeding
• it does not irritate the periapical tissues
• in contact with tissue, especially with serous or purulent secretions, it gradually decomposes, releasing free iodine
