Formocresol is used in reversible and irreversible pulp inflammations, in the exposure and injuries of the pulp in deciduous teeth, if: the roots of the teeth are resorbed no more than 1/3 of their length, no fistulas and abscesses, no signs of alveolar bone resoption in the bifurcation in the X-ray image and around the root tips, no signs of internal resoption both in the chamber and in the canal; in general indications, e.g. haemophilia, when tooth extraction is contraindicated.
The material is also used in permanent molars with incompletely formed roots, in the case of irreversible pulpopathies, as a temporary method (after complete formation of the roots, complete endodontic treatment should be performed).
The package contains: 10 g of the preparation.
