Diamond burs in the shape of an inverted cone are intended for the preparation of hard tissues and fillings. They also fulfill their role when making retention grooves. These grooves are designed to improve the retention shape of the cavity when preparing the tooth for amalgam filling.

- green (534) - coarse coating
- black (544) - very coarse coating
