BIO MTA+ is intended for use during dental treatment as a material for filling and reconstructing root canals.

It is especially recommended in cases of:

• root canal wall perforation
• intracanal resorption
• filling of the posterior root apex
• with direct coverage of the pulp
• during pulp amputation
• in the treatment of teeth with incomplete root development

BIO MTA+ should not be used as an independent permanent root canal filling.

Features and Benefits:

• the product is intended for use during dental treatment as a material for filling and reconstructing root canals. After mixing with BIO MTA+ liquid, the working time is approx. 4 minutes, and the material is completely bound after approx. 2 hours, which allows the treatment to be completed in one visit
• has a remineralizing effect on tooth tissues due to the high content of calcium ions. Silico-calcium compounds support tissue reconstruction after wall perforation and intracanal resorption
• it is characterized by the smallest grain size on the market, and additionally contains hydroxyapatite, which is a natural component of bone. Thanks to the combination of these two features, the product shows excellent biocompatibility and allows the material to integrate into the existing structure
• It is characterized by an exceptionally plastic, compact consistency, it is not loose. The product can be easily formed, which is important in a situation where there is a need to form an irregular shape. BIO MTA+ sticks to a standard tool and can be inserted into the canal on it. This enables precise and controlled application and reduces the need for expensive, complex application tools
• BIO MTA+ shows 3 times greater strength compared to traditional MTA materials. This ensures a strong and stable restoration

Composition:

• BIO MTA+ powder: calcium oxide, hydroxyapatite, and oxides of: silicon, iron, aluminum, sodium, potassium, bismuth, magnesium, zircon, calcium phosphate
• BIO MTA+ liquid: water of pharmacopoeial purity, calcium catalyst
