Perio Aid Active Control 0.05% / 500ml

PERIO · AID Active Control 0,05% mouthwash is an alcohol-free oral antiseptic containing 0,12% chlorhexidine (CHX) and 0,05% cetylpyridine chloride (CPC). Thanks to the synergy effect between CHX and CPC, it guarantees the elimination of pathogenic bacteria. This combination of active ingredients gives excellent results in the treatment of periodontal diseases and gingivitis around the dental implant.

PERIO · AID Active Control 0,05% mouthwash is used to actively control plaque in the treatment of gum and periodontal diseases. Home therapy usually lasts up to 6 months.

Indications:

in the chronic treatment of periodontitis and periimplantitis

• conditions gingivitis, bleeding, swollen gums
• patients at high risk of periodontal diseases
• patients with insufficient oral hygiene
• patients with difficulties in maintaining hygiene due to mobility limitations and / or mental disability
• orthodontic patients with insufficient oral hygiene
• patients at high risk of caries
• patients with systemic diseases (diabetes, cardiovascular disease)
• immunocompromised patients treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy, etc.

Composition:

Chlorhexidine digluconate 0,05%

• broad and long-lasting antiseptic action against pathogenic bacteria of the oral cavity

Cetylpyridine chloride 0,05%

• an antiseptic with high activity in the fight against plaque, supports the action of chlorhexidine

Xylitol 1%

• remineralises enamel, has anti-caries properties
• balances the pH in the oral cavity, inhibiting the formation of biofilm (plaque)
• moisturizes the oral cavity, increases saliva flow and reduces acid production

Directions for use:

Rinse the mouth with 15ml of undiluted Perio Aid Active Control 0,05% liquid for 30 seconds in the morning and evening after brushing your teeth. Do not swallow. It is advisable not to rinse with water or eat immediately after using the liquid. Use up to 6 months.
